Very unique and custom handle set up.  Beautiful Burgundy scales with black inserts forming a diamond pattern.  It is subtle but still very cool looking and something you really very rarely see from them.  There are also some very cool red liners to dress it up.  Brass hardware always looks good with Burgundy.  Great classy combo.  I particularly like the finger grooves and the orientation of the edge with the handle.  having the handle just a little "north" of the blade edge line is advantageous when in the kitchen or needing to dice anything on a cutting board.  This one came from Dozier with a flat spot on the edge at the transition from flat to the curve on up to the tip.  I took care of that and it is now screaming sharp.  So, it's disclaimer time. "I will not be held responsible for the amputation of any appendage during the use of this knife."

This knife is so fresh and new, it is still warm from the heat treat oven!  :-)
