My thoughts on this knife.  If you are planning on constantly being near water sources or just live in a very humid area, this is a great knife.  They only come in stainless.  The upswept blade is quite useful in many chores, but I'd be cautious if you plan on using it as a semi-survival style knife.  The grind is deliberately very thin so therefore can't take the punishment a Model 23 could take.  Lucky for you, I have some Model 23's for sale!

This is a very dressy 8-4 with the brass and black being quite classy and the radiused butt adding even more to it.  Nice generous handle on this one.

This is the Behring Technical Duke. Its rock solid construction and simple design ensure a wide variety of useful applications that survivalists, first-responders, military and law enforcement personnel alike depend on.  I have one that I use as an EDC and love it.  I think it is cool to have such a tactical knife, in a leather sheath.  You can do everything in the kitchen, cut cardboard until your arms give out, skin any small game, and if you are good, a deer.

The Behring Technical Badlander has proven itself time and again to be an excellent choice when you need one knife to do it all. From the hardcore survivalists and discerning hunters to those needing a trusty tool for the annual family float trip- this one is for you.  Outfitted with a finger grip choil and aggressive grip pattern on the handle.  Not that you would be using this one.  Or maybe you would.  Up to you.  This is serial number 001.  This is the first knife made when it was decided to put this knife into production.  There are scuffs on the blade from entering and exiting the sheath.  With a little work, you may be able to remove it.  

This is a great chance for a true Behring Made Knives collector to acquire a one of a kind knife.  I also have the prototype that you no undoubtedly see in the third photo.  This knife is not for sale.  However, I am a realist and know that for the right $, everything is for sale. :-)
