This is a brand new knife from the maker.  If you have never had one of these, they really are quite impressive, but not overbearing or unwieldy.  The thick stock combined with the generous handle slabs on this one makes it a great feeling knife in the hand.  Good balance.  Lots of straight edge for all kinds of work and a nice upswept point should you need to skin anything while you were out on your adventure.  The sheath is actually quite easy to use and extracting the knife is a breeze due to the thump release.  You could chop down a tree with this, or bone out a chicken.  The Ironwood is Exhibition Grade.
