My thoughts on this knife: This is the Model 23's big, very big, brother. The 23 was actually borne of this model.  The 19 is a wider blade, heavier and also has more curve to the cutting edge than the 23.  Like the 23, the top edge is sharpened for serious bone breaking or chopping.  This is the 5" version which will field dress a Buick or Moose and still be able to slice some nice carrots for dinner.
